- All cardboard and soft plastics are recycled, supported by purose-installed balers to ensure efficient handling and processing
- Packaging waste is segregated and managed responsibly to minimise landfill use
Energy Efficiency & Renewable Power
We have made significant investment in renewable energy and energy storage:
- Our premises are equipped with maximised solar panel coverage and battery storage
- On sunny days, VSSCo is fully self-sufficient for electricity, reducing reliance on the grid and lowering overall carbon emissions
Transport & Fleet Emissions
Given the importance of delivery and logistics to our business, we continually work to reduce transport-related emissions:
- We operate a modern delivery fleet, routinely upgraded to ensure lower CO₂ emissions and improved fuel efficiency
- All company cars are either fully electric or hybrid, significantly reducing environmental impact compared with traditional combustion vehicles
